Advocate Zubair alias Shah Jee, a terrorist linked with the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), was killed in a security forces operation in Chagai. According to Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Zubair was involved in targeting Chinese nationals, running a BLF network in Dalbandin, and planning multiple terror attacks.

During the operation, another militant, Jehanzeb, surrendered and confessed to his role in supplying weapons and carrying out attacks. His confessional video was shown to the media during Bugti’s press conference in Islamabad.

Security officials confirmed that Zubair had been under two months of surveillance and was linked to the targeted killing of two Pakistan Air Force personnel in May. Bugti described the operation as a major success against terrorism in Balochistan.
