(Watch in HD) On Saturday, July 19th, 2014, I returned to Antioch for the July Calrailfans Meet. We first start off at Martinez where we catch Amtrak's Coast Starlight #11 then we headed to the meet where we were greeted by Amtrak San Joaquin Train #712 with the Comet Car Set. This year's meet was located at the Antioch Marina located on L Street. Antioch, CA is located on Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF's) Stockton Subdivision. The highlights that grabbed our attention on this day includes Amtrak Genesis P40DC #816 shoving Amtrak San Joaquin Train #714, Norfolk Southern GE Dash 9 (C40-9W) #9135 trailing 3rd in consist on a rather short intermodal shuttle movement of some sort consisting of empty spine cars, and 3 former ATSF Warbonnets still sporting the Santa Fe Scheme trailing on BNSF's Barstow, CA to Richmond, CA Manifest (M-BARRIC1-18A). Enjoy as BNSF Trains fly by the Marina going about 65-70 MPH, a couple Amtrak Capitol Corridor Trains passing by the Benicia Bridge located at a Vista Point in the city of Martinez, CA on Union Pacific's Martinez Subdivision, an Amtrak San Joaquin Train skimming by a river and spectacular scenery located not to far from Port Chicago and much more!
