At the end of July my sister-in-law had a baby shower for her second child. For her first child, I crocheted a baby blanket and I knew I was going to do the same for this one. However, I didn't know what style I was going to do it in. Well, at her baby shower she mentioned that sunflowers are her favourite flower; and it just so happened that I had seen a tutorial for a sunflower granny square that same week! Plus, yellow and green happen to be the token gender neutral colours, and my sister-in-law didn't know if she was having a boy or a girl. So I went back to the tutorial, learned to make the granny square, then made 70 of them and turned it into a blanket! In this vlog I share with you guys the process of making this gift for the newest member of my family. 😊
