Jeff Schroeder plays the Aurelius Tri-Voice Chorus | EarthQuaker Devices

Jeff Schroeder, guitarist from The Smashing Pumpkins, demos the Aurelius Tri-Voice Chorus in a full band setting with Vice Cooler on drums and the incredible Emily Retsas on bass. Jeff composed three pieces inspired by the Aurelius to showcase its three voices and wide variety of sonic textures. It’s super rad to get a glimpse of Jeff’s method of approach using chorus effects and how each mode on the Aurelius depicts different styles of playing.

“It’s not a very transparent pedal, as soon as you turn it on it has a distinct sound and vibe. And like many EQD pedals, it has a very distinct place in the pantheon of other chorus pedals, and I really like that about it; it has a unique flavor to it,” says Jeff.
