No More Track Cleaning - Problem Solved -

This video presents how I came to the point where I no longer need to clean the tracks of my Model Railroad. I also explain my findings about the track dirt and how to mainly prevent it from getting there.

I´m also testing the efficiency of a selection of common track cleaning cars, track rubbers, as well as presenting the results from tests of a range of different cleaning agents, such as Isopropanol, Ethanol, Methanol, Aceton, WD-40, CTC 5-56 and Inox mx3.

One thing is for sure clear: One simple hack, a cleaning car or a liquid will not be anyones solution. The path to constantly problem free tracks goes through a wise selection of track material, wise placement of the layout, an individually based set of prevention methods and regular operation of the Model Railroad.
