Our day started off with an early morning visit to the pool at Fontainebleau. It was lovely! Because it was just after 8:00 a.m. on a Tuesday in August, there weren't that many people at the pool and it was very relaxing. The pool area is quite large and nicely landscaped. There are several pools and different seating areas, many where one could be in complete shade. There are also several bars, which offered more shade and lots of beverage options--I was even able to find an iced vanilla coffee!

Afterwards we went off in search of breakfast and settled on El Bagel in the food hall. We had breakfast sandwiches and they were tasty and filling, and the coffee was good, too. We were able to cover the cost with our earned rewards so that was a bonus!

We played slots for a bit and then Mr. E checked in at the rewards desk to see how he was doing. He found out that he had two complimentary tickets to the Hall of Excellence, curated by Tom Brady and sportscasting legend Jim Gray. Normally tickets are $35 each so we decided it would be worthwhile to go for free, even though I am not a Tom Brady fan! Luckily there was plenty of memorabilia from lots of other sports stars and even icons like Oprah. The installation was beautifully done and clearly top quality. The experience includes a self-guided narrated tour that is presented on a device with headphones, but we elected to just walk around, read the didactic panels, and enjoy. We spent about 45 minutes there and definitely recommend it, especially for sports fans.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Fontainebleau and would be happy to return. Every member of the staff we encountered was very welcoming and friendly, and every place we went was super clean. We especially loved Lapis Spa. Our one major complaint was that we were able to hear our neighbors quite clearly through the walls of our hotel room (luckily briefly!). I don't know if this is common throughout the hotel, but FYI!

Then we drove off to Aria and checked into our Corner Tower Suite. This was our first time staying in a Tower Suite room and we loved it! You'll see a condensed room tour in this video. We loved that it felt more like a condo or apartment than a hotel room. The views from the bathroom, bedroom, and living room were stunning, and the deep jetted tub was amazing! The Corner Tower Suite rooms are at the end of the hall and we didn't hear a peep from next door or the hallway the entire time we were there. As an added bonus we also had access to the Tower Suites Lounge, which offers coffee and other beverages plus light snacks.

After unpacking we went downstairs to hit up the Gem Bar and play video poker. We had some nice hits and delicious raspberry lemon drops. We played a bit more at Aria but we weren't having especially good luck, so we headed over to The Cosmopolitan.

As we walked around the corner from Wicked Spoon we saw that there was no line for Ski Lodge, so we decided to check it out. We had always wanted to go but for whatever reason we'd never made it in before. We are so glad we stopped in! We absolutely loved the decor, especially the old school 13 inch TV with VCR that was perched on the end of the bar where we were sitting. We were delighted to see that the movie that was playing was "Way of the Dragon" featuring a young Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee fighting in the Coliseum with a kitty cat witness! We enjoyed cocktails and realized we were hungry, so we shared a Superfrico pizza and it really hit the spot.

After we left Ski Lodge we played some slots together and then split up. I had absolutely dismal luck on everything I tried, so I rejoined Mr. E to play slots once again. We were playing Spooky Link, and while I was getting a bunch of nothing he started winning! The slot attendant (I wish I knew his name--I know we've seen him before at the Cosmo and I belatedly remembered that he was the one who paid us our $8,000+ handpay a few years ago on the Madonna Mighty Link slot!) was so nice to sympathize with me and give me a smile and a fist bump. He also rubbed Mr. E's game for luck and it totally worked! Mr. E did very well that evening at the Cosmo--you'll see his handful of big TITOs towards the end of video, but alas I do the vast majority of the video work so you won't see how he won all the money--and neither did I!

We left the Cosmo sometime after midnight and grabbed some sandwiches at Aria, then and headed back to our suite to enjoy our food and the nighttime view from the living room. Thank you for watching, and we hope you enjoy!
