Dealerships in general are known for all of their additional charges. It’s not just RVs, It’s cars too. But in the RV world, we have all different types of crazy charges. The dealer will try and throw at you. The only thing you’ll notice that I did not touch on in this video, is extended warranties. The reason I didn’t cover warranties is there are so many different programs available, some provided by the dealer and some are third-party. Some of them are great some of them are not, so do your research on the particular provider they are trying to sell you. As far as the other stuff goes, it’s all a bunch of BS. Charging you for things that they have already been paid for, or charging you amounts that don’t nearly add up. This is how these big box corporate dealers can advertise much lower prices than everybody else. It’s not because they get better deals from the manufacturer, it’s because they pad the deal with you with tons of unnecessary charges. And you’re simply pressured into paying them. I’m gonna be the bad guy, the one to tell you that you don’t have to. If they refuse, leave. somebody else will have that unit for sale. Sure it might be a drive, but it will cost you far less. They of course, will try and convince you otherwise.  but actually start walking out the door and see how quick they change up, I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
