On July 25, 2024, CABBI Feedstock Production Researcher Diego Jarquin, an Assistant Professor of Agronomy at the University of Florida, presented a Bioenergy 101 talk titled "Fast-tracking Miscanthus Breeding: Multispectral Imaging as a Cost-Effective Tool for Early Yield Prediction" for those in attendance at the annual science planning retreat. This was one of three talks during the retreat. These brief overviews offer insight into specific CABBI scientific thrusts for all Center scientists, especially those who are from different fields.
