LAS VEGAS! | Evel Pie | Wynn Buffet | Tacos El Gordo

Quick overnighter in Vegas with Lisa’s sister, Lesley! Let’s take her on a foodie tour!

Arrived into LAS around 10pm, then headed over to the California Hotel & Casino to check in.

Our first foodie stop took us to Evel Pie for their always yummy cheese pizza. Ended the night with a midnight meal at California's Market Street Cafe.

Next day, we all headed to the Buffet at Wynn. It's been suggested to us to try many times, so this was the perfect opportunity to give it a try. The line was crazy long, around 45 minute wait on a Wednesday afternoon. They have a 'skip the line' pass for $10 per person, and includes a glass of sparkling wine!
The buffet itself is beautiful. So many food options. The serving areas were kept clean. For the mains we tried, they were all okay. The fish & chips were borderline inedible. Other main items lacked some flavor and not standing above your typical buffet fanfare. For the price, there are other dining options in Vegas. The plus side was the desserts. All the desserts we tried were very good, props to the Pastry Chef.

Since Leslie never tried Tacos el Gordo, we had to take her there to try their amazing pastor taco. Right next to the Wynn, it was just a quick drive there. Tacos were very consistent and she loved it!

This Vegas trip went by too quick! Time to head to the airport for our 6pm flight back to LA. You know we'll be back again soon!
