The Pretribulation Rapture on the surface sounds like a wonderful part of Scripture, a promise that involves no bloodshed, no tribulation, no difficult times, or being persecuted and/or executed for one's true allegiance to Christ. However, it is not until one thoroughly studies Scripture, and then tests the very defenses & foundations that the pretrib rapture doctrine is so heavily reliant upon; that one can truly observe that it has no place in God's Word.
It is a very dangerous belief as it will eventually lead to an empty promise, an absence of Christ at the very dawn at the age of trouble, which will ultimately lead one to the feeling that they have been "rejected", or "left behind." It is a perfect strategy for Satan, and an incredibly smart one too, because it prepares a Christian for an unprecedented attack from the sides (i.e. doubt, fear, weariness, frustration) and from the front (i.e. feeling of being rejected, despised, cast aside by the Saviour.) The doctrine also lulls one into a false sense of security, making them think that a 2nd chance will be granted to all sinners 'left behind.' How ignorant & selfish of us as Christians to even take on board a philosophy that places the wicked in this current generation over those in past generations (i.e. Noah's Flood, Sodom & Gomorrah.) Make no mistake, the time to accept Christ is now! If the wicked were condemned & lost then, they WILL be condemned & lost in the future. There are NO 2nd chances. Nor will there be a Third Coming (which the pretrib rapture doctrine clearly professes.)
The pretrib rapture promises complete deliverance from the harsh roads of life that will fill the end days of the Great Tribulation, the likes of which has not been experienced. It sets one up for disappointment, and it is ultimately what "everyone wants to hear." The Truth is not like that (this should be your red flag.) Truth in the Bible can be a sword. And whilst there are certainly wondrous promises ahead (the likes of which will dwarf anything we could ever hope for here), the road to getting there is tough, bloody, narrow, and steep. And it involves a cross tied to your back! We need to stand firm in our faith, for the Lamb does not simply have a flock of sheep in His midst, but those who are children of the Living God. Smitten by the world, but loved from above. Redeemed, and not forgotten. Loved, and truly counted as worthy to be saved and glorified, even though no person on Earth deserves it.
The days on Earth are temporary, and the Lord has promised to never abandon His flock, nor will He. He has never promised to bring them wrath either, but He did promise tribulation. And tribulation is very different to wrath (despite what pretrib Rapture theorists cling too.) "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thessalonians 5: 9.) This verse I simply did not bother to include in the video because I felt it was clear with regards to what is being said here. Fact is, you are either SAVED or you are UNSAVED. If one is not, than they will receive God's wrath. There is no "in-betweens." This verse is NOT trying to say that you will never go through tribulation or the Great Tribulation, because there are way too MANY verses that are contrary to that, and say that you will, and history (i.e. the Spanish Inquisition, the 2004 Tsunami, 9/11, etc.) is the greatest advocate of all.
"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (John 16: 33)
This is my longest video yet, and I have developed it for I feel that there is far too much error out in the world with regards to the pretribulation teaching. I pray, and hope you will all watch this video with an open mind, and know that regardless of what will happens, that you are all dearly loved by Christ. Whilst the mountains may fall into the sea, and the stars will fall from heaven, the Lord will be with you & has redeemed you, and you will then experience eternity; for you have built your house on the rock, and not on the sands that were carried into the sea. God bless.
