Easiest Way to Catch Live Bait!

In this video I show you the easiest way to catch live bait for beach and inshore fishing, namely croaker and pinfish. I caught a few croaker in this video but I caught a few dozen before I started filming. You can catch absolutely anything from pinfish to trout and sheepshead! Live croaker are a fantastic bait (arguably the best bait) for big gator trout and huge flounder and bait stores often charge as much as $1 per croaker so this is a huge potential money saver! This technique is also so easy absolutely anyone can do it. If you often fish with your kid feel free to have the man the bait road; it’ll keep them busy and keep bait in your bucket!

These guys can be fished live or cut but I prefer live bait almost always if you’re fishing on the bottom because it can help thwart bait thieves like pinfish and crabs.
