What’s Lighter? - MSR Reactor VS PocketRocket 2 Efficiency Test

Описание к видео What’s Lighter? - MSR Reactor VS PocketRocket 2 Efficiency Test

What stove style is actually lighter to carry in the backcountry, once its fuel weight is accounted for? An MSR Reactor or an MSR Pocket Rocket? In this video I run an efficiency test between the two to see which one is more efficient, and by how much. Then I do some algebra to calculate the day of a trip the more efficient stove begins to make sense to carry. I use my stove to rehydrate one meal a day and make coffee - if you make two or more meals a day, the math is different, and the more efficient stove makes sense to carry sooner. This is all just a point of reference, and a more efficient stove will shine brighter the shittier the conditions are. I'm happy that I own both.
