This is the follow up post to the Kempt Beard oils of yesterday. Now that you know about these great natural beard oil options, what about an equally good beard wash?

Before you ask, yes; a dedicated beard wash does a better job than a shampoo or that 3 in 1 body wash you won’t admit you are using. Beard hair is coarser than the hair on your head and your face needs a smoother treatment than the rest of your body. So bothering with a dedicated product is money well spent.

The Kempt Beard’s wash is a rich foam that blended nicely in my beard. The foam is pump activated as opposed to a chemical reaction. Check! The lather is very pleasant to work with. Goes on smoothly and rinses off effortlessly. It also has what smell to me like a fantastic smoky vanilla fragrance. It is actually; patchouli, bay rum and sandalwood. Just so you know, this is same fragrance as their “original” beard oil, but I find that it come out a tad different than the oil. Equally delicious, but a touch different!

In this wash you will find: Aloe Vera, Argan Kernel Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil. These will insure that your beard doesn’t get dried up by the process leaving your mug feeling clean and comfortable. The assumption is that you are following up with a few drops of oil though.

I used about 3 pumps as I generally also wash my face as part of it. At a 150 ml this bottle should last you a couple of months of daily usage.

The pump action foam and the delicious fragrance are what make this beard wash a winner for me.
