Crawling vs Indexing - How to Index a Site in Google

Описание к видео Crawling vs Indexing - How to Index a Site in Google

Crawling and Indexing are two very different concepts, in this video, I explain what each one is, as well as how you can index your site in Google.

An indexed site is one that has enough value to be placed in the search index. Indexed sites will appear in search results, unindexed sites won’t.

Crawling is when Google’s robots (or "spiders") go through your site to see what it's all about. Crawling and indexing are different in that all sites are crawled, but not all sites are indexed.

The purpose of the Google index, is to index valuable content for search. Something that Google considers valuable for a search, from which people will get value.

When Google thinks that something is not valuable to a user's search, it doesn't index, however, it doesn't mean that Google doesn't know that the link doesn't exist and that it doesn't count towards boosting your site in the rankings, it always counts!
