Dr. Rakeda Leaks joined Naperville Community Unit School District 203 for the 2018-19 school year as the Executive Director of Diversity and Inclusion. Dr. Leaks reports to Superintendent Dan Bridges and collaborates extensively with all levels of District leadership to support the mission of educating students to be self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers and community contributors.

In this segment, Dr. Leaks discusses her background in education and human resources, as well her goals for this newly created position in the District. Dr. Leaks has already been influential during her “listening tour” by meeting with all levels of District staff and partners in the community to hear what their views on diversity and inclusion in District 203. She also details her biggest successes to date and where she is focusing her efforts for the future of District 203.
