Howe Sound British Columbia is home to the Canadian Surfski Championships. A diehard and very committed group of nine downwind paddlers are based in Squamish, a great little town at the base of The Chief along the Sea to Sky Highway. Three of this rare breed of paddler who paddle in snow and ice during the northern winter, welcomed Damo KELLY and myself into their midst and treated us to an awesome paddle through the 'Índiana Jones' run and a fun downwinder on the championship course from Porteau Cove.
