Come visit the world class Marina Flamingo - Costa Rica!

This week we're showcasing the brand-new Marina Flamingo which has been described as "where luxury meets nature!"

This much anticipated marina has been in the works (for many years) as the grand openings was just a few months ago. Phase 1 is proudly hosting 18 commercial tenants, 92 boat slips and luxury rental villas in the upper levels.

The prior marina had been out of service for @ 25 years as it now feels as if there's a spark (in the air) around town. Speaking of spark, I found it very cool to see CoopeGuanacaste (our local power provider) had installed an EV charging unit on-site.

Upon arrival to the 1st level (on the water side) I entered into a few of the retail tenants. I was pleasantly surprised with their product options, their design aesthetics and upscale look and feel.

I had a great convo w/Alvaro (in the Bodego 75 store) to learn more about their holding organization, called Nacascolo. Within this parent umbrella, they offer a few brands most from North America would recognize (i.e., Thule, KTM motorbikes, etc) as well as many local / healthy labels.

I then jumped over to checked out the classy clothing styles in the Terracotta boutique. I chatted w/Olivia as she was able to steer me to a cool climate friendly shirt which I scooped up.

For dinner, I was able to score a table at the stellar, Matias restaurant on the peaceful boardwalk (malecon). Timing worked out great to be joined by the retired Light Heavyweight Boxing Champ Donny LaLonde and his wonderful wife, Christi. Absolutely delicious dinner!

In my follow-up visits I've learned there is an onsite BCT bank, legal offices, medical center, Gurme / Cafe Britt store, etc on the next level. With Phase 2 construction already underway it's clear that this spectacular marina will become the hub of this thriving community!
