Do you know about Tilka Manjhi? Guys, Dashrath Manjhi, who broke this mountain, had no relatives! Rather, he was a brave fighter who was hanged for India's freedom. "Jabra Pahadia", born in a Dalit community of Bihar in the year 1750, was called Tilka Manjhi by the people because of his warm nature. There was a famine in the Santhal region of Bihar in the year 1770, but the British did not even stop collecting taxes. Seeing this, Tilka started looting the British treasury and distributing it among the Dalits. Not only this, whenever the British came to capture Tilka, Tilka along with his men used to kill everyone with poisonous arrows. Even after searching for many days, when the British could not find Tilka, they lured some people to their side by luring them with a job! And due to some family spies, the brave Tilka Manjhi was caught in the year 1784. After this, he was tied to horses and brought to the village and one day he was hanged on a tree in broad daylight in front of everyone. We salute this brave man for his sacrifice.
