Neminus' Master Diver 1000 is a 1km rated 44mm CuSn8 bronze automatic dive watch with a lot of intriguing features, from the 12 sided bezel with its unique "Mariana Trench" edging, to the even more unique dial design that looks like the crusted ocean bed. In case you can't tell, the entire theme of this watch is deep diving. Neminus have done a stellar job here with a really cool diver.

Spec-wise, this is very impressive with 5mm thick domed sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating, ceramic angled bezel that has absolutely no back-play, (one of the best I've reviewed,) insane 1km rating, (does anyone really go out into the water at that depth without being crushed?) and an equally sturdy kevlar strap with signed CuSn8 bronze buckle. The watch also has a second crown that fulfills the function of a helium escape valve, and is powered by the utterly reliable NH35A movement, a very popular choice for microbrand watches.

In a nutshell, this timepiece looks awesome IMHO and it's truly a steal at it's initial pre-order pricing of $299. Basically if you like the look of this watch I'd sign up for one quickly as this is a limited edition. On the downside, the retail pricing puts this in competition with other CuSn8 bronze 44mm divers with 1km ratings and Swiss movements so to my mind, this is absolutely worth going for at $299 but I'd be more hesitant once the pre-order period ends and it hits full retail pricing.

Lots to love here but it's also worth pointing out that this is probably the heaviest watch I've reviewed, and is certainly the tallest at a jaw dropping 18.4mm. Definitely this is a very cool tool watch but not one for folks looking for something slim. This is a prototype however, and Neminus are trying to address the height issue, which I go into more detail on in the video.
