Another update on the book I am making with Lynn Wise as part of Sally Hirst’s concertina collaboration 2024 project. You can see Lynn’s additions to the last version of the book in the first half of the film, then my next steps in the second half. Lynn created lots of white space and subtle texture which led me to bring in some flatter areas of colour as a contrast, as well as collaged pieces of handprinted paper, some of which I kept in relief to add a 3D element. The book now heads back to Lynn!
