This song is written for a horse. It has the bloodline from China's best horse. It used to gallop like wind through the jungles of mountains and plains. It also met a young man who "has the strength to lift mountains and spirit to take on the world" (from Xiang Yu's last poem). Then, it accompanied him in the wars. They were once invincible. It had not been defeated in the first half of its life, and it also didn't drag out an ignoble existence after the boy who had tamed it and accompanied it suicided near the WuJiang river.
The horse was called Wuzhui (One of the top ten famous horses in ancient China, Xiang Yu's horse, which was called the best horse in the world during Xiang Yu's time). It was born in the mountains and died in the winter of 202 BC.
