Recently I purchased the Sony FDR X1000V to be my main helmet cam. I thought I'd try the GPS feature, just to see what it did. So this video is a little test run. As the Sony software only exports at low bitrate, then having to export again from FCPX, there is a significant quality drop. Another reason why I wouldn't use this feature for what I do. Motovlogs with it are coming soon in 4K, as soon as my new mic arrives.I am still getting to grips with it, and sorting out its position, so I'm testing the waters here.
