In today’s video we’re taking a second look at recoil reducing ammo. Originally, I had tested this and came to the conclusion that ammo with recoil buffs applies a fixed amount to the weapon, as stated in-game.

There have been a few comments and suggestions that have led me to question at least some of the original result that I came to, and although it does seem that the fixed amount of recoil reduction does seem to be the closest to reality, it isn’t always correct - for example when using high recoil weapons.

This strange result complicates the discussion - while I do believe that it’s best to think of the ammo as removing a fixed amount from low recoil weapons in general, it does seem to break down at super low recoil & super high recoil. I outline a theory that I have in the video at the end, but it’s not really possible to know for sure as there are too many variables!
