A pre-trial date of 16 October 2024 has been set in the corruption case against former Speaker of the National Assembly, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula.
This as the matter was transferred to the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria from the lower court.
Mapisa-Nqakula faces 12 counts of corruption and one of money laundering in connection with bribery allegations against her during her tenure as Minister of Defence.
