15-20knot NE onshore winds, with 1.5m cross-swell from SE, made the offshore conditions messy, windy & choppy on Saturday 8th Dec, 2024. Location was out from Mooloolaba River Mouth Bar & off Point Cartwright, SE Qld, Australia.

Pat Jones - driver, designer & builder of the latest Waverider Boat series, proudly puts his Trinity 600 Trimaran prototype through its paces, showcasing how the thin trimaran hull just slices through the waves & chop, and comfortably handles the conditions that other boats were driving very slowly through.

Boat is powered by just a 90HP Mercury, and achieves 1 litre to 1 Nautical Mile, and comfortably sat on 18knots in the featured conditions.
