Hello my whoop friends. The NEW BetaFPV Lava 2 LiPos are here and they're GAME-CHANGERS! Are the new Betafpv Lava 2 Lipos the new best 1S Lipos? The Lava 2 Lipos have more power, a higher C-rate, less voltage sag, and less weight than our beloved legendary black 1S 300mAh Tattu Lipos! And I can prove it to you in this video! In this video, I'll show you a thrust test with the new BetaFPV Lava 2 LiPos. More specifically, a thrust comparison between the new BetaFPV 1S HV 320mAh 95C Lipos, the old Lava 1S HV 300mAh 75C Lipos, and the legendary Tattu 1S HV 300mAh 75C Lipos. And of course, I also did a hover flight time test. So everyone can see just how good the Lava 2 LiPos are. It's too early to say whether the Lava 2 Lipos are the best new 1S lipo batteries. But they certainly have the potential! Stay tuned!
The price of the Lava 2 LiPo batteries will range between $20 and $25 per pack of 4-5 batteries, depending on the size.
The Lava 2 LiPo battery sizes will be as follows: LAVA II 1S HV 280mAh 95C, LAVA II 1S HV 320mAh 95C, LAVA II 1S HV 480mAh 95C, LAVA II 1S HV 580mAh 95C, and LAVA II 1S HV 680mAh 95C. If you're wondering, like I was, what the LAVA II 1S HV 680mAh 95C batteries are for: They're perfectly suited for a Betafpv Meteor 75 Pro HD. I tested it myself, and it flew surprisingly well. I flew my Meteor 75 HD with a Caddx Ascent VTX. I'll be showcasing this whoop combo on this YouTube channel soon. Stay tuned!
Please note that the LAVA II 1S HV 480mAh 95C fits very loosely in the battery compartment of the Meteor 75 Pro Whoop. I think BetaFPV designed the LAVA II 1S HV 480mAh 95C for the Air75 or the Air75 Wisp.
