If your Yard Machines snow blower starts but won’t move, this repair usually fixes it.

Snow blower machine: Yard Machines 22” snow blower (MTD)
Model: 31AM63ED500
Sockets used: 10 mm and 11 mm

Safety tip:
Empty gasoline by running the machine or using dropper.
Do not keep electrical cable plugged.
If possible remove spark plug.

After installing the cable, make sure to adjust the tension by moving cable guide bracket:
1. With the drive control released, the wheels should roll freely. If not cable is too tight.
2. With the drive control engaged, the wheels should not roll freely. Cable not too sagging.
