Tourette Does the Talking: Thomas White at TEDxUND

Описание к видео Tourette Does the Talking: Thomas White at TEDxUND

Thomas White, a senior at the University of Notre Dame, gives an eloquent talk in which he narrates his life with Tourette Syndrome, a neurological condition that forces him to do battle every second of every day. Not a banal sob story nor a mockery of the severe and incurable disease, his presentation is a celebration—and an expression of his determination, perseverance, and love of life that he hopes will inspire all those who suffer.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
