Humble Choice Explained (NEW Humble Bundle System)

Описание к видео Humble Choice Explained (NEW Humble Bundle System)

Humble Bundle just announced a new change to their regular subscriber service. Instead of the title Humble Monthly, it will now be called Humble Choice. I will try my best to explain the new system the best I can. The way humble monthly has worked up until this point is that you pay 12/Month for a bundle of games, and you can choose to opt in or out depending on the month, so if there is a specific bundle you’d like you can subscribe for that month, then unsubscribe. With the New system, they are adding a ‘choice’ feature, and in order to fully utilize it you must already be a subscriber when this new system lands. It basically works like this, if you are not subscribed when it hits then you are forced to either do A Lite, Basic or premium plan. Lite is laughably bad, you only get access to the trove for 5/month, Basic is 15/month and you get to choose 3 of the games in the monthly, and the premium plan is you get a choice of 9 games for 20/month. But then there is a forth option, and this one is the kicker. For 12/month you get to choose 10 games (which I believe means you get all the games in the monthly), Sounds familiar right? This is basically the plan everyone has right now, but in order to get this classic plan you must already to be subscribed when this new system hits, and you cannot unsubscribe. If you do unsubscribe you will be forced to do the premium plan, which is basically the monthly but more expensive (again 20/month) and by the looks of it there is no way to get the classic plan once you have unsubscribed. The Classic plan is a way to get people subscribed and keep them subscribed for however long if they want to continue receiving their usual bundles at the regular price. And you are also pretty much forced to subscribe before the new choice system comes around, without even knowing what games are going to be in the next bundle.

Reading what people have said, many people are upset about this and are outraged that Humble Bundle would resort to this method to get people subbed, and basically trapped if they don’t want to pay more for what they are already getting to this day. Many are skeptical of the new system and are outright unsubscribing from the service, others are a little more optimistic claiming that maybe the games will be better quality, and it will be beneficial in the long run. What do you think of the new system, is it good, is it bad, and do you think Humble Bundle is scummy/scam for doing this? Let me know in the comments.
