Setup / Run WINALDL on Windows 10 Laptop Instead of Scan Tool - GM OBD1 Diagnostics- 3rd Gen Camaro

I wanted to use a laptop computer to connect to my 3rd Gen Camaro ECM engine controller. I have been using an OBD1 scan tool, but this is an alternative that can provide some additional data. I purchased an ALDL cable kit from OBD Diagnostics. Running WINALDL has some challenges with Windows 10. It ultimately works, but there are some setup challenges. I walk through the process of installing the software and configuring the USB serial port and com port to be able to communicate with the ECM.
