Legit professional Tenkara Angler (Shokuryoshi) and Bear Hunter (Matagi) Shigeo Yamada filmed in the 1970s fishing the snowy slopes below the peak of Mount Naeba.
We interviewed Shigeo's son Kazuyuki Yamada in 2017 and he owe him a huge debt for passing on so much of the true history and culture of tenkara.
