What if you said yes to the most romantic, ridiculous version of yourself…

And waltzed straight inside a Jane Austen novel like it was written just for you?

Not only visiting Bath. Not rewatching Pride and Prejudice for the sixteenth time. But wearing the clothes. Dancing the dances. Walking the very streets she once did, and then stepping through the grand doors of the Guildhall, where the chandeliers still flicker like it’s 1805.

For one weekend in June, that’s exactly what I did.

This is the story of my first-ever Regency ball.

The Sanditon Summer Ball.

A historically accurate Jane Austen ball, in full eighteenth-century attire, right in the heart of Bath.

Alone, I might add. no partner, no entourage.

It’s a story about feeling the most fabulous you’ve ever felt in your life, as well as like you were perhaps born in the wrong century.
And you’re coming with me.
