To get our Barn House plan into SketchUp we needed to work from our Architectural Field Sketch and bring the data into SketchUp. It can be a bit fussy to take a rough sketch and translate it into a decent SketchUp Model.
This tutorial first discusses a little bit about the gathering of contextual information, then translating our architect-measured field sketch into a SketchUp model as the first steps to initiate our fun adaptive re-use project.
