Dubai Marina, also known as Marsa Dubai, is a distinct district within Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This engineered canal city stretches over a 3-kilometer (2-mile) section of the Persian Gulf coastline. Situated between Jebel Ali Port and the area that houses Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, and the American University in Dubai, Dubai Marina can be found at Interchange 5. The inspiration for Dubai Marina was drawn from the Concord Pacific Place development situated along False Creek in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
