TURKISH MEAT BALLS WITH SALSA & TURKISH DAJJAJ | Masala Morning | Shireen Anwar | 6 Sep 2023 ‪@MasalaTVRecipes‬

TURKISH MEAT BALLS WITH SALSA

Ingredients:
Beef fine mince ½ kg
Onion finely chopped ½ cup
Parsley chopped 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Roasted cumin crushed 1 tsp
Sumac ½ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
Garlic paste ½ tsp
Oil ¼ cup

METHOD:
Mix all the ingredients very well in mince, make into crocket shape, shallow fry for 10 mins until done, remove and keep aside.
Ingredients for Salsa
Garlic pastes 1 tsp
Tomato puree 4 tbsp
Water ½ cup
Black pepper ½ tsp
Roasted n crushed cumin ½ tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Allspice ½ tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Parsley chopped 1 tbsp

METHOD
In the wok in which we fried koftas, add garlic paste, tomato puree, with half cup water, all the dry seasonings, chopped parsley, put fried meat crockets in a serving platter, top with prepared salsa, top with chopped parsley, serve hot.

TURKISH DAJJAJ
Ingredients
Chicken 8 pcs 1 kg
Yogurt 3 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Allspice 1 tsp

METHOD
Marinate chicken with all these for 2 hours, then deep fry for 10 mins until light golden

Ingredients for Sauce:
Tomato puree ½ cup
Salt ½ tsp
Roasted & crushed cumin ½ tsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Lemon juice 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic 1 tsp
Black pepper ½ + ½ tsp

METHOD FOR SAUCE
Mix all together in a bowl.
Ingredients for Vegetables
Onions cut in rings 2 large
Tomato cut in rings 2 large
Capsicum cut in rings 2
Potatoes peeled boiled 2
Sumac ¾ tsp

TO ASSEMBLE:
Grease a large pyrex dish, spread a layer of onion rings, top with boiled potato rings, tomato rings, capsicum rings, top with fried chicken, sprinkle black pepper, drizzle the mixed sauce, remaining veggies and sauce, now put to bake on 180 D for 40 mins, give dum of coal.
