Note: This footage was taken from a publicly accessible part of the train. The type of train that this video was recorded from has a passenger-accessible front window that can be filmed out of without interfering with the train crew. No footage shown in this video was recorded from a non-public viewpoint. Please do not trespass and/or place cameras in non-publicly accessible areas.

The NY Transit Museum occasionally runs special "Nostalgia Rides" for ticketed customers! These trips provide funding for the continued upkeep, restoration, and maintenance of the MTA's beautiful and comprehensive museum train fleet. Interestingly, most of these trains have passenger-accessible front windows, allowing riders a great view of the tracks ahead. Quite the view!! This video was taken on a museum train excursion that visited Van Cortlandt Park. Tickets for excursions like this are available on the Transit Museum's website.
