Boy was it fun to make another fretless cover. I really hope I can keep this up cause although it takes a lot longer to make, it is fun to see the end product. And yeah, I just really had to step in during Hessian Peel and sing those lines. I've always wanted to do an Opeth vocal cover and I never really found a good song for it. But not this time! Now I obviously changed a lot of things to make this happen. The Grand Conjuration isn't actually played on the A string, Goblin doesn't have that line it it with the long slides, I switched the ending notes in Requiem and ended with a note that isn't even in the actual song, etc. But hey, that's why it's so fun. You can just switch it all up. Now I can hear you all thinking "No Face of Melinda?!?!?". Yeah, I tried it. Face of Melinda's bass line is really boring without the rest of the music. It's a beautiful song, but it didn't work for this video. So which band is next...?
