‪@thepersianknot‬ 19th century Oversized Chinese Peking in a “near square” format with an allover open field pattern in wheat, Tiffany blue, sky-blue, and navy. The rug has a very unique and beautiful wheat field color with Tiffany blue and sky-blue Designs. The design in the field contains Chinese symbols for fortune, prosperity, and long life. The border is a sky-blue meandering vine. The design of this Peking rug is very similar to the design of the Ningxia carpets from the 18th and the early 19th centuries.
