ASU Core Facilities Equipment Showcase: Keyence VK-X3000 3D Surface Profiler

The ASU Core Research Facilities house state-of-the-art equipment, including the Keyence VK-X3000 3D Surface Profiler, an optical profiler capable of measuring samples down to the nanometer scale.

This device is the first optical profiler that can use three scanning methods: laser confocal, focus variation, and white light interferometry. It can measure a 50mm area with nanometer resolution regardless of the material or shape being measured.
