Anthropomorphism has long been a popular subject of artists worldwide, but often Japanese artists like to humanize all sorts of goofy things.
Case in point is this book. Rather than go the typical cutesy anime girls, Nelnal goes all- in with a very fun and vibrant cartoon style.
When one of my books manages to grab both of my kids' attention, that's an impressive feat, considering they both have such wildly different tastes.
Plus there's the added bonus of ALL the text in the book being in both English and Japanese! Fun stuff!
