Join me on an exciting day as I explore my home village in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, starting in the heart of Chateaubelair, a peaceful fishing and farming village. We kick things off with a fun ride in my cousin's open-back truck, cruising through the scenic countryside to Campden Park. From there, we dive into the vibrant streets of Kingstown, stopping for a delicious meal at VJ's restaurant. Our adventure continues as we grab some refreshing Frisko ice cream and head to the National Archives. I'm on a personal journey to trace back the history of the original enslaved Africans who arrived on the island, hoping to uncover more about my roots and heritage. This day is filled with great food, rich history, and a deeper search of where I come from. I really would love to know the country in Africa where my ancestors originated...
