Xiaomi MI BAND 6 SCREEN REPLACEMENT - also good for Mi Band 4,5,7 and 8

In this video, I will show you how to replace the screen of your Xiaomi MI BAND 6 smartwatch if it is cracked or damaged. This is a common problem that can happen if you drop your device or hit it against a hard surface. The screen replacement process is not very difficult, but it requires some tools and patience. You will need a new screen, a heat gun, a spudger, a pair of tweezers, and some adhesive tape. Follow these steps to replace the screen:

1. Turn off your Xiaomi MI BAND 6 and remove the strap.
2. Use the heat gun to soften the adhesive around the edges of the screen. Be careful not to overheat the device or damage the battery.
3. Use the spudger to pry up the screen from the frame. Start from one corner and work your way around. Do not force the screen or bend it too much, as it may break further.
4. Disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the screen to the motherboard. Use the tweezers to gently lift up the connector and pull it out.
5. Remove the old screen and any remaining adhesive from the frame. Clean the frame with a soft cloth or alcohol wipes.
6. Align the new screen with the frame and connect the ribbon cable to the motherboard. Make sure the connector is firmly in place and there are no gaps or dust between the screen and the frame.
7. Apply some adhesive tape around the edges of the screen and press it down firmly. You can also use some glue if you prefer, but make sure it is compatible with your device and does not leak inside.
8. Reattach the strap and turn on your Xiaomi MI BAND 6. Check if the screen is working properly and enjoy your repaired smartwatch.
