How to Make a Pottery Teapot from Start to Finish

This film shows how my stoneware straight sided, stepped teapots are made from beginning to end. My wadding recipe is: 50% china clay/kaolin, 50% coarse alumina hydrate. Mix together slowly and then combine with water very slowly, as it seems to turn to a liquid very easily, so add less than you think.

The gas kiln is a Rohde KG-340, my potter's wheel is a Rohde HMT 500 and my electric kiln is a Rohde TE-200.
