On Wednesday, September 3rd, Beijing held the largest military parade in history to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Japan's defeat in World War II. People on the streets of Beijing were eagerly waiting for the military aircraft flying overhead.

When the helicopters flew in an "80" shape and various jet planes flew overhead, the crowd burst into cheers.

The waiting hall of Hongqiao Railway Station was particularly festive. A huge Five-starred Red Flag was hung high, and two LED screens were simultaneously broadcasting the live coverage of the conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, attracting many passengers to stop and watch.

Many passengers also watched the grand ceremony in real time through their mobile phones, their joy evident on their faces.
