Piedmont Heart’s physician-led organization is driven by advanced practice providers (APPs) who provide extraordinary care to patients at the bedside, and support to our doctors, nurses, Clinics, and hospitals. The 2019 Piedmont Heart APP of the Year Award recognized Barb Conlon, NP, for her outstanding leadership skills. Jan McAlister, NP and Jeff LeFeber, PA were also finalists. “All of these APPs embody the values that PHI stands for,” said Dr. Jyoti Sharma. “Not only are they taking good clinical care of their patients, but they are educating others and using their time outside of the hospital to contribute to their communities.”
