Why Slade Wilson Deathstroke Is Robin's Perfect Antithesis

I recently watched Teen Titans (2003) for the first time and LOVED IT!! But one man in particular caught my eye... and it's Slade Wilson. HE'S SO COOL AND AWESOME IN THIS SHOW!! I decided to do a deep dive into how his character and Robin's character reflect one another--how much Robin reminds Slade of himself and how he uses it to manipulate Robin... actually, he's just kind of manipulating everyone. At all times. What a goober.

I really just wanted to rant about them. It's so interesting to me. How their partnership parallels Batman and the Dynamic Duo, how Robin's obsession with catching Slade drags him into a downward spiral, and what the KEY difference between these two characters really is... I found it really fascinating.
