I always vlog using my smartphone and I think it's most effective. I use my iPhone 11 Pro Max usually and now I have bought the Joby Grip Tight Pro 2 Gorillapod and Rode VideoMicro. Here is an unboxing video and mobile vlogging set up. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy the SC7 3.5 mm TRS to TRRS patch cable which is very important for capturing the audio from the microphone. This cable is not included by Rode and should be purchased separately.
