Tesla Giga Berlin's battery factory is moving ahead with full force and in this video report, you can see how Tesla is reinforcing the thick ground and raising concrete pillars.

A friend of Torque News Jurgen, who regularly tweets Giga Berlin updates and news, has shared some interesting images showing the progress of Tesla Giga Berlin's battery factory.

He writes "Today at the construction site. While the foundation work on the #batteryfactory is still going on, more and more reinforced concrete pillars are rising into the sky."

When Elon Musk announced the battery factory at Giga Berlin he said it will be the largest in the world when reaching its full capacity, building many batteries for electric cars.

Tesla Model Y production is expected to start in October in Berlin-Brandenburg, construction of which is being completed.

The updated Model Y is expected to feature tabless 4680 cells, offering an increase in power and range over previous versions of the crossover.

The Model Y will be produced in Fremont, Shanghai, Austin, and Berlin in the future.
