Join us as our jiangmen friend play host to us for 3 days in 开平 Kaiping Jiangmen, Guangdong in China over the Chinese New Year holidays. The vibes of Jiangmen is so old school and reminds me at times of the old Singapore shophouses.

Some highlights of the trip, eating yummy Cantonese food like their famous eel rice 黄鳝饭, desserts (糖水), dim sum 点心, seafood 新鲜海鲜, beef oxtail radish soup 牛鞭萝卜汤.

Attractions we went to
📍开平碉楼旅游区
📍赤坎古镇 and
📍just driving along the old street shophouses were a treat to the eyes and mind, away from the high landscapers and buildings in the bigger cities.

Shopping wise, we bought some 江门新会陈皮(xinhui aged dried tangerine peels) which is famous for their health benefits.
