Actress Mae Whitman welcomes first child
The 36-year-old actress announced the birth of son Miles on Instagram, writing “From the moment we heard the first tiny sound out of his tiny piggy mouth we were besotted.” The baby boy is named for Whitman’s Parenthood co-star and real-life best friend Miles Heizer. Whitman first went public with her pregnancy back in May, sharing a photo alongside Heizer and TV mom Lauren Graham, along with a series of on-set photos from the NBC hit drama when her character Amber was also pregnant.

The couple, who share 5-year-old daughter Philomena and 8-year-old son Augustus, are growing their family! The news was revealed to People Magazine on Wednesday, just days after Corgan and Mendel shared the news with their children. The two have been together since 2012 and officially tied the knot in September of 2023.

Bellino revealed the surprise engagement on Instagram, writing “I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together with our kids. And the answer is 100000000% yes.” Janssen popped the question on August 27 while on a trip to Santa Barbara where the couple concurrently celebrated their 9 month anniversary. The two first met back in November of 2023 through a run in with mutual friends.
